Cleaning techniques of plastic wares:

Specimen: Pour the specimen ( fluid) through a plastic funnel. Observe the sink and rinse the funnel and sink with 2500 ppm chlorine 5% L/L phonetic disinfectant.
Urine /stool and other supernatant fluid discarded with concentrated phonetic disinfectant.

Plastic ware: Immerse overnight or at least one hour in a container of 2500 ppm chlorine disinfectant .Make sure each container is fully immersed with air bubbles expelled.

Equipment of staining:

1. Malaria staining container: Made polypropylene 100 ml capacity widencek container for fields staining of thick blood film.
2. Stain dispensing container: TK type Amber glass 100 ml capacity with groove stopper can be closed when not in use.
3. Spout type : Translucent polythene bottle with probing spout which can be closed when not in use.
3. Wash bottle:  Made polythene with dispenser tube useful capacities .2500 ml, 500 ml.
4. Slide draining rack: Made polypropylene black with angled shots to hold 12 or more slides upright for spears to dry after staining.

Equipment for WBC count:

Manually a kit consists of bright line
  1.       Improved  neubauer haemocytometer
  2.       Hand tally counter
  3.       Hand syringe dispenser (to measure diluting fluid)
  4.       Solit  calibrated capillaries.
  5.       WBC dilution curtain.
  6.       Rack .

Improved Neuberger Haemocytometer :

Needed for WBC and platelet. It consists of bright clear line initialized surface double grid improved neubauer reled haemocytometer two cover glasses.

Fuchs Rosenthal haemocytometer :  CSF cell counter order bright line  dual grid Fuchs resenthal haemocytometer with two cover glasses.

Hand tally counter : Plastic or metallic mechanical hand counter, mainly WBC .
 
Differential cell counter: Mechanical 5 unit performing  WBC differential counts.
