Cleaning techniques of plastic wares:
Specimen:
Pour the specimen ( fluid) through a plastic funnel. Observe the sink and rinse
the funnel and sink with 2500 ppm chlorine 5% L/L phonetic disinfectant.
Urine
/stool and other supernatant fluid discarded with concentrated phonetic
disinfectant.
Plastic
ware: Immerse overnight or at least one hour in a container of 2500 ppm
chlorine disinfectant .Make sure each container is fully immersed with air
bubbles expelled.
Equipment of staining:

Malaria staining container: Made polypropylene 100 ml capacity widencek
container for fields staining of thick blood film.

Stain dispensing container: TK type Amber glass 100 ml capacity with groove
stopper can be closed when not in use.

Spout type : Translucent polythene bottle with probing spout which can be
closed when not in use.
