Staff pattern:

A central laboratory is staffed by a director, a senior co-ordination  officer , several senior technologists and technicians a senior safety officer, laboratory tutors, a finance officer, a stores officer, clinical staff and several aids according to work load.

Function :

The main function of central laboratory are as follows:
  1. To formulate a professional code of conduct for medical laboratory personnel.
  2. To perform a range of specialist test not normally undertaken in the regional laboratories.
  3. To organize a national blood transfusion service.
  4. To evaluate new technologies , standardize techniques.
  5. To prepare control sera, blood grouping antis era, anti-human globulin, reagents culture media that require  standardization.
  6. To support the work of the regional hospital laboratories.
  7. To train specialized technicians.

NGO Sectors:

Bangladesh is a over populated country .It is very difficult on behalf or government to provide proper health service to the citizen of Bangladesh for that reason, many private organization and NGO  forum come in front health  services. Laboratory services is very important to maintain proper health care system.
