Training of Laboratory Workers/Technologist
In recent years, the extension of
health laboratory services into rural areas and remote corners of the country
along with rapid increase in the number of laboratories in the cities has caused an extra demand, on trained laboratory
workers.
To fulfill this growing demand, we must adopt a strait programmed for
practical training of laboratory personnel , On the basis of theory knowledge.
Laboratory workers/ technologists should undergo clinical training under
supervision of physician or consultant of respective field . the aim of
clinical training is to prepare future laboratory workers or technologist, so that he/she can
perform some basic tests/ procedure accurately.
The clinical lab, represents an
environment in which the learner ( technologist) comes into contact with
instruments and methods for the purpose of as squiring and refining the
knowledge, skills of lab. Technique. Systematically planned and flexible
clinical laboratory training are keystone to training programs represents or
unique and essential aspect of present curriculum . Laboratory training are
thus designed to facilitate the acquisition and laboratory of skills by
providing appropriate supervised training.
